When I created MyGlow, I wasn’t trying to start a skincare brand, I was trying to heal.There was a time when

bleaching and harsh skincare products were everywhere. Our skin barriers were under attack. So many women were left with damaged skin,

weakened texture, and lost elasticity. Some didn’t even bleach, but years of sun exposure, inconsistent care, and harmful products took their toll.

 

During my postpartum recovery, my body and skin changed in ways I didn’t expect. I wanted firmness and renewal – something to bring back

vitality and confidence. When I couldn’t find what I needed, I began experimenting in my own kitchen.

That’s how MyGlow Black Soap was born, a natural blend I created for myself, then for my family. It firmed,

exfoliated, nourished, and soothed my skin. It became the quiet beginning of what would later grow into something far greater.


Building MyGlow: From My Kitchen to a Global Partnership

As more women around me began sharing their struggles with damaged and tired skin, I realized there was a deeper need. We needed products that would repair, calm, and protect.

That’s when I discovered Bebak Kozmetik — a pharmaceutical skincare brand in Turkey known for integrity, research, and heritage of quality. Their Bitter Almond Cream changed everything for me. It revived my skin completely, smooth, bright and alive again.

I knew I had found something that could complement what I had started with my own black soap; a partnership that would blend research with real result. Products packed with barrier-strengthening, repair, and soothing actives, carefully chosen to target specific concerns rather than one-size-fits-all formulas. Every product has a purpose to restore what was lost, to calm what was inflamed, to strengthen what was weakened.

It marks our second anniversary, two years since MyGlow officially came to life, and the launch of our new website, our permanent online home for the GlowTribe.
